Why Have A Locum/Coverage Doctor?
The rigors of practice might be overwhelming at times. As practitioners, we are aware that we should take care of ourselves and that we should take a break every now and then, but it is not always possible to get away from things. From maternity/paternity leave, vacation, or the need for some personal time, it can be hard or near impossible to schedule these things around patient visits and administrative work. There are even those unforeseen instances where you need someone to take care of your patients due to: illness or injury, emergency situations, or assistance with the office workload.
Why I Am A Locum/Coverage Doctor
After working as an associate for numerous years and then maintaining my own practice, I understand how tough it can be to take time away from the practice. In our roles as health care professionals, it is common to feel uncomfortable about taking time away from the office and patients, even when it is only for a few days and even when we are truly in need! It is an honor to provide chiropractors and their patients with the same confidence and trust that I would have in my own office by offering coverage/relief services. As a locum/coverage doctor, it allows me the opportunity to provide relief to practicing doctors who always give to their patients and their community. It also allows me the joy and excitement of seeing new places, experiencing new towns and offices, as well as meeting new patients.

How It Works
Please complete this form and Dr. Irene will contact you within 48-72 hours to review your practice and patient requirements. Once an agreement has been met, the contract has been read and signed, and office expectations have been discussed, the doctor will plan a date and time prior to the coverage start date to observe office flow and meet the office employees.
